Courage: Facing What Frightens Us the Most

Courage! Thank you so much for your messages in response to last week’s post on my first speaking events. I was able to read a few early Sunday before embarking on Dave Koz and Friends at Sea Cruise in Scandinavia and the Baltics. On board with the greats of Smooth Jazz, including Keiko Matsui, Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, Jonathan Butler (to name a few)! Great weather, great ports and 2100 fans, new friends and family. A great week! But no internet. So, forgive me for not responding. Glorious week! Popped a cherry!

Confess, never liked that expression! Felt it crude and rude. But after giving my first ever “Inspirational Speaker” talks this week, YES, PLEURAL, not one but TWO (!!!!!), need some new language to express the leap! My first talk, on Sunday, was at The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation (TAFF) 13th Annual Walkathon in Crissy Field. Thank you, Dina Chon, for inviting me! “TAAF is dedicated to bettering the lives, support networks, and medical care of those affected by aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain.” The Walk-a-Thon is their main fund-raising drive.
